Our energy future

It's certainly an exciting time to be part of our industry, and as young energy professionals we play an important role in shaping New Zealand's energy future. Check out the links below to see how that future might evolve.

Also, check out the upcoming events, and keep an eye out for details of our next catch up in Wellington next month. And as always, if you have an event or any news to share, contact us at youngenergypro@gmail.com.
On June 8, a group of us had a fantastic conversation about the environmental and economic impact of new technologies, sparked by a presentation from Concept Consulting's Simon Coates. Check out the full report here.
The Electrical Engineers' Association conference on June 22-24 addressed challenges faced by the industry, best practice today and tomorrow, changing customer demand, and future technologies and innovations. Check out the full conference line up.
As well as understating new technologies, it's important to understand how they will be used. The Energy Cultures Conference in Wellington this week focuses on behaviours and how to transition to a sustainable energy future. Full programme here.
