Maintaining links to the World Energy Council
The Future Energy Leaders (FEL) programme complements BusinessNZ Energy Council’s (BEC) existing relationship with the World Energy Council (WEC). The programme provides a pathway for emerging energy leaders to engage with global energy discussions, networks, and leadership development opportunities through WEC.
Participation in the FEL programme supports knowledge sharing, international collaboration, and leadership development aligned with New Zealand’s energy transition priorities.
More information about the global Future Energy Leaders programme can be found on the World Energy Council website.
New Zealand’s FEL
BEC’s Representatives
The Future Energy Leaders (FEL) programme is an international leadership initiative designed to help shape, inspire, and develop the next generation of energy leaders. Participants are selected for their leadership potential and their ability to contribute to solving complex energy and sustainability challenges.
BusinessNZ Energy Council is delighted to have one representative, capable of solving the world’s most pressing challenges around energy and sustainability, and on their way to becoming the next generation of New Zealand’s energy leaders.
